Welcome back to school. This year will be an excited year as we dig deeper into a variety of algebraic functions and relations. We will also learn more about the trigonometric functions you learned in Honors Geometry. We will be utilizing Khan Academy to extend what you learned about Statistics in Algebra 1.The purpose of this course is to prepare you to take AP Calculus AB next school year.

PARCC Algebra 2 is coming

Any students who took Algebra 1 in middle school or transferred into Northern High from an out of state school with an Algebra 1 credit are required to take the PARCC Algebra 2 exam the week of April 23rd. The test will be given over two days.

We will be doing some practice PARCC questions in class. In addition you can go to khan academy or Math bits {see links under Helpful websites} to review skills needed for PARCC.
