Week 4 of online learning - we finish sections 4.3 and 4.4

Accelerated Algebra 2/PreCalc  - Section 4.3 and 4.4 continued

Answer keys for last weeks work have been posted in schoology.

Please remember there is a blank and filled in unit circle in the 4.2 folder for students to download and use. The answer keys to the work turned in on 4/14 are now in the answer key folder.

Lesson Essential Question: How can we find the reference angle and sketch them? How can we find the sine, cosine, and tangent of a given angle? How do we use a calculator to evaluate trig functions?

1.      Watch the video notes on finding reference angles and drawing reference angles : http://precalculus.flippedmath.com/93-evaluating-trig-functions.html

2.      Download the notes packet that goes with the video and fill out the notes portion as you watch the video and then complete the problems at the end of the packet. When completed upload the packet to schoology due 4/24 at 5PM: http://precalculus.flippedmath.com/uploads/1/1/3/0/11305589/pc_9.3_packet.pdf

3.      Answer the discussion question on schoolog: Solve p. 400 #65 then explain to a friend how you solved the problem. You can write your work or upload a picture of it if that is easier. Respond to each others post and look for similarities and differences in how everyone approached the problem. Due 4/24 at 5PM

4.      Complete the assessment on schoology for 4.3 to 4.4. due 4/24 at 5PM -- you need to either show you work on a piece of paper and upload your work to schoology or show your work in the actual quiz online.
